Safety warning after teen drowns at sea May 02, 3:41 pm
The Irish Coastguard has issued a warning about the use of inflatable on the sea following the death yesterday of a teenager off the Coast of Co. Derry.15 year old Robert McMullan from Coleraine was swept to sea after a rubber dinghy he and a friend where in capsized off a beech at the costal town of Castlerock.His friend managed to make it ashore where he raised the alarm and an extensive search operation was launched.Robert was discovered in the water by the Donegal based Greencastle Lifeboat at around 5 O'clock yesterday evening.He was airlifted to hospital where he later died.
